Unfortunantly, I don't know of any off hand. Maybe someone else can answer this. We had to purchase training classes from Delmia.

I've the same problem. I was searching in V5R19 documentation, but without result. Can you write how to add the sparks into spot welding simulation ( Delmia V5R19)?

I wonder where current DELMIA users obtain their training. There appears to be no books or online courses on how to use this tool. We have the software, but it does not come with much in the way of training either. I sure wish someone would point me to some training resource that I have overlooked.

I am working at a large power plant that is modeling equipment and building items using CATIA. They intend to use Delmia to animate portions of the model in preparation for replacement of some large equipment items. I am currently studying the fundamentals of CATIA; however, my potential role is to animate the model using Delmia, not build the model in CATIA. Can anyone direct me to some training materials (e.g. manuals, on-line course) to quickly get up to speed with the Delmia application?

I have used a number of 2D and 3D cad systems in the past, as well as, animation packages associated with those systems. I have a decent software background and am familiar with 3D animation transformation (move, rotate and/or scale). I have zero experience with Delmia and want to come up to speed as quickly as possible. TIA

Hello,

Does anybody know the nature of this error? Appears every time while starting the client remotely.

All DCOM settings are correct, able to "PING" the server manually...

I am getting the following error after installing the PE client remotelly. The DCOM setting on the server were adjusted correctly,but the server was not restarted-could it be the problem?

Error Information: Acess is denied

I am having the problem to connect the PE Client to PE server and getting exactly the same error. (Can not connect to the Pooling server)

DCOM settings for the server are applied but the server was not restarted.Is it necessary?

Within the DCOM settings identity tab, you have to configure the user that runs the DCOM services individually for each DPE service and not all at once when working with Win 2K3 server.

We are getting the following error (see below). We have already installed DPE Server and Client and configured all DCOM setting as specified in the DCOM documentation. The client machine is able to connect to a separate server that has the same DCOM settings, but we are not able to connect the new server we are setting up. We are running Windows Server 2003 (as server)and Vista (as client).

Any help would be greatly appreciated. We have been troubleshooting this for 6 hours now...
