We are getting the following error (see below). We have already installed DPE Server and Client and configured all DCOM setting as specified in the DCOM documentation. The client machine is able to connect to a separate server that has the same DCOM settings, but we are not able to connect the new server we are setting up. We are running Windows Server 2003 (as server)and Vista (as client).

Any help would be greatly appreciated. We have been troubleshooting this for 6 hours now… Cry

Within the DCOM settings identity tab, you have to configure the user that runs the DCOM services individually for each DPE service and not all at once when working with Win 2K3 server.

What? Thats it? That worked for now. I will reformat computer and reinstall and see if that works as a permanant solution.
